So today, i was to become an amateur Strobist. I had so many ideas and so many things i wanted to try out. I got my international package from the mailroom and stifled my giddiness all the way down the stairs, out the door and down the road back to my apartment.

After a careful unboxing, i discovered a rattle... Some of you may know what i refer to when i say the rattle of death. ARG! Something inside the case is broken. I mean, i bought a piece of electronic equipment. If i wanted a maraca, i would have hit up the Guitar Center. Not all hope is lost...not for the motivated.

So today, i was to become a repairman.

Currently, here i am; doing what i can to resolve this situation with solder, determination, and a lot of good help from fellow flickr members.
